Joe H. Miller, IV - PrincipalMr. Miller has a JD from the School of Law at the University of South Carolina and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Prior to the formation of Atlantic Marina Holdings, LLC, Mr. Miller’s experience included serving as Principal of Miller Development, LLC, which developed retail, mixed-use, and office projects totaling over $180 million in value. Previous to the formation of Miller Development, Mr. Miller worked with Cousins Properties, a REIT based in Atlanta, GA and 1997 NAIOP National Developer of the Year, Childress Klein Properties in Atlanta and Trammell Crow Company in Nashville, TN. M. William Mathes, III - PrincipalMr. Mathes has extensive experience in real estate private equity and structured finance. Prior to Atlantic Marina Holdings, LLC, Mr. Mathes was a sponsor of private investments in several natural resource ventures. He also worked at Merrill Lynch Global Private Equity Group, during which time he helped raise in excess of $2 billion in equity partnership securities in real estate and corporate buyout funds, notably for Sam Zell, Colony Capital, Texas Pacific Group, Tishman Hotel & Realty LP and Thayer Capital Partners. Prior to the Private Equity Group he was in the Merrill Lynch Structured Finance Group which concentrated in the Public Utilities sector. This Group raised $1.1 billion in off-balance sheet financings during his tenure. Before joining Merrill Lynch he was with PaineWebber Inc. in their real estate group. Mr. Mathes holds an MBA from the University of Michigan, a M.Sc. in Real Estate from Columbia University, NY and a B.S. from the University of Alabama. Dunston Powell, CCIMMr. Powell graduated from The University of Georgia with a B.B.A. in Real Estate. He has successfully brokered real estate transactions in excess of $200,000,000 during the past 13 years, including retail, office, industrial, investment, waterfront, and marina properties. Prior to joining Atlantic Marina Holdings, Mr. Powell was a partner with Batten & Moore, LLC, a regional commercial real estate and development firm. Mr. Powell has led acquisitions for Atlantic Marina Holdings since 2005 and has focused on marina specific product for over seven years. Mr. Powell earned the CCIM designation in 2002, which currently less than 4% of all commercial real estate brokers and investors hold. Mr. Powell is currently a principal with Carolina Commercial, LLC. Joe H.
