Joe H. Miller, IV - PrincipalMr. Miller founded Atlantic Marina Holdings, LLC in 2003. Prior to that Mr. Miller served as principal of Miller Development, LLC, which developed retail and mixed-use projects totaling over $180 million in value. Previous to formation of Miller Development, Mr. Miller worked with Cousins Properties, a publicly traded REIT based in Atlanta, GA and 1997 NAIOP National Developer of the Year, as well as Childress Klein Properties in Atlanta and Trammell Crow Company in Nashville, TN. Mr. Miller has an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a JD from the School of Law at the University of South Carolina. M. William Mathes, III - PrincipalMr. Mathes has extensive experience in real estate private equity and structured finance. Prior to Atlantic Marina Holdings, LLC, Mr. Mathes was a sponsor of private investments in several natural resource ventures. He also worked at Merrill Lynch Global Private Equity Group, during which time he helped raise in excess of $2 billion in equity partnership securities in real estate and corporate buyout funds, notably for Sam Zell, Colony Capital, Texas Pacific Group, Tishman Hotel & Realty LP and Thayer Capital Partners. Prior to the Private Equity Group he was in the Merrill Lynch Structured Finance Group which concentrated in the Public Utilities sector. This Group raised $1.1 billion in off-balance sheet financings during his tenure. Before joining Merrill Lynch he was with PaineWebber Inc. in their real estate group. Mr. Mathes holds an MBA from the University of Michigan, a M.Sc. in Real Estate from Columbia University, NY and a B.S. from the University of Alabama. WILLIAM C. JAMESMr. James has over twenty five years of experience in commercial property acquisitions, asset management, development, and finance. Mr. James began his career at Marine Midland Bank, where he specialized in real estate workouts. Mr. James later worked with The Yarmouth Group in Atlanta, where he oversaw portfolios for pension funds and corporate investors such as PacTel and RJR Nabisco, building investment value as an asset manager and then overseeing dispositions. Mr. James then co-founded Oakmont Industrial Group, where he led the company's acquisition of and leasing efforts for a portfolio of five million square feet of industrial space. For the past ten years, Mr. James and his partner have been selectively investing in a wide variety of real estate opportunities around Atlanta and the Southeast through their firm J&E Real Estate Investments. Mr. James earned a BS degree in finance from Lehigh University and an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. Dunston Powell, CCIMMr. Powell graduated from The University of Georgia with a B.B.A. in Real Estate. He has successfully brokered real estate transactions in excess of $250,000,000 during the past 15 years, including retail, office, industrial, investment, waterfront, and marina properties. Mr. Powell is a partner with Carolina Commercial, LLC, a regional commercial real estate and development firm. Mr. Powell has been in charge of acquisitions and dispositions for Atlantic Marina Holdings since its inception. Mr. Powell earned the CCIM designation in 2002, which currently less than 4% of all commercial and investment real estate professionals hold. Joe H.
